My name is Fiona, aged 35, I am a successful businesswoman, a decent, good-looking, goal-getter, and also God-fearing. I am the eldest child, I have two younger ones named Olivia, and Johnson. My parents are good, wealthy, and also dramatic. Recently they have been on my neck to get married, Ive told them several times I dont need a man to complete me.
As early as 5 am, I got a call from my mom, she said
MummyFiona, Im calling to check in and see how youre doing. And also to remind you that its time to get married Im so worried that you feel so relaxed, youre not getting any younger your younger sister Olivia got married at age 25, she followed my steps. I got married to your dad at 23yrs.
Fiona sighed, bracing herself for another lecture on the importance of finding a husband.
I was quiet I didnt know what to say to her, she reminded me of my age every single day.

I did not utter a word to her because I wasnt in the mood to talk about this topic, My sleep was getting sweeter when she called. How could she wake me up so early to tell me this?

Fiona let out a sigh of relief as her mom hung up the phone. She knew her mother meant well, but she was getting tired of the constant pressure to get married.
She has dated 3 guys before now and they didnt work out for her, especially Felix who beat her up for every slight issue what about Andrew? He was a chronic cheat and a liar. when Victor ran away with her money and relocated with his family, she decided not to give any guy a try, Victor appears to be single not knowing he has been married with two kids.
Felix, Andrew, and Victor -, Fiona had certainly had her fair share of bad luck with men. Each relationship had ended in disaster, and she was left feeling hurt and betrayed. She had decided to give up on men entirely.
2 hours later Mum called again
MumHello, Fiona, I told you I would call back, Ehn, is about Tina o, small Tina is getting married.

Fiona sighed as she watched the traffic pass by outside the window. She felt like the universe was conspiring against her. She was already stressed about her mothers constant pressure to get married, and now her car had broken down. It was like a bad comedy, and she was the lead character. She tried to take deep breaths and focus on something positive, but it was hard.
As she was trying to look what would be the fault, a car parked in front of her.

Please calm down, Im not a mechanic but I can call my mechanic to help you fix it in no time, James said.
