I think my roommate is crazy

He believes that our room is being haunted by a ghost.

And ever since, he has been doing weird rituals to cast the ghost away.

You see, my roommate moved in with me three months ago, and things were great between us then.

But last month, he suddenly began to complain and grumble that our room was haunted.

According to him, he believes that the room is haunted by a ghost.

From the things he said, he began to suspect that the room was haunted when things began to disappear and get displaced.

First were the books. He said the books were taken from the shelves where they were neatly displayed to the kitchen sink, water soaking them and blotching the ink of their letters.

Second were the clothes. My roommate said he found most of the clothes in the bathroom instead of the wardrobe where they should be.

He also complained of the TV going on and off like something was controlling it.

He said he was watching Zee World the other day when the channel was suddenly changed to one showing soccer.

I never saw nor experienced any of the things he claimed he saw

So I kept thinking he was just being silly until he began the weird rituals, and only then did I conclude that he must be insane or he must be a supernatural extremist.

He began to practice daily rituals in our room.

During the rituals, he would bring out red, black, and white-colored candles, and with their burning incense wafting around the room, he would shout for the being to leave.

When he thought that the ritual wasnt enough, he bought a Bible, a Quran, and a spiritual booklet from an old store down the street. And at midnight, he would recite the passages of these holy books in several languages, sweating and praying at the top of his lungs.

The noise he made at midnight and the silliness he displayed annoyed me a lot, and I wished with intensity, to have a sane person as a roommate instead of this weird guy.

One day though, his actions vexed me to a point where I didnt fail to tell him so.

That day, I was up at midnight, and since I found it hard to go back to sleep, I decided to read Arrow Of God, so I went to the shelf to grab it.

I was well past chapter one when suddenly, my roommate woke up from sleep.

Not even grumbling this time, he just went straight and lit his odd candles, and grabbing his Bibl, he began to pray audibly.

He yelled and shouted, casting and binding the ghost away. It was almost comical how he looked while doing this sweaty and foolish.

His outcry of the prayers became too much that I could no longer concentrate on the novel I was reading, so I shouted, Can you shut up? You know youre not the only one who lives here.

No sooner had I said this than he turned, bolting out of the door, screaming as he ran into the dark corridor.

Help Help I heard him scream as he ran further.

Gosh I still swear that that boy has a mental disorder.

I mean, he just moved into the room three months ago and he is already complaining of a ghost.

What about me who has been living in this room for the past 456 years?

Ive been here for more than four centuries yet I havent seen nor heard any ghost in the room.

No hated here. I dont copy this is not a novel
